 Semex USA & APEIS Corp. Distribution Agreement For CattleTraxtm

September 1, 2000 Semex USA based in Madison WI. and the APEIS Corp. based in Norfolk NE., entered into a joint marketing and distribution agreement, whereas the APEIS Corporation will provide data management services for EID (electronic identification), handheld data collection devices, and online data entry capabilities to Semex USA and it’s mutual customers.

 “This agreement with CattleTraxtm and the APEIS Corp. is an integral step in providing value added products & services to beef producers around the world,” says Lance Ellsworth, Global Beef Manager for Genetic Horizons/Semex USA.

Francis Costello, General Manager of Semex USA, Inc. states, “At Semex, we see this as an important step in helping our customers acquire maximum profits & benefits through our “conception to carcass” program.”

 The APEIS Corporation, developers of the CattleTraxtm  program, provides online data entry and tracking for livestock producers worldwide. Utilizing handheld scanners and personal data assistants (PDA’s), data uploading to the CattleTraxtm server is possible via normal phone connection or the world wide web.
